The International Diploma programmes are validated and certificates awarded by Informatics Academy International, Singapore and National Computing Center (NCC), London. The Foundation Course is certified by the University of Wales, United Kingdom.

The programmes are:

1. Certificate in Foundation Skills (CIFS)

The CIFS programme is designed for holders of secondary school certificate examination qualification only or its equivalent (OLEVEL with minimum of four (4) credits including English and Mathematics. Courses taught include Technology Skills, Numeracy Skills, and literacy Skills. On successful completion of the 1 semester of CIFS, students proceed to 1 semester of DIT.

2. Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)

The DIT is for candidates with Advanced Level in addition to the O-Level qualification. The DIT programme is either 2 semesters or 3 semesters. The 2 semester students are admitted  directly into the DIT programme. For 3-semester, students with only O-Level qualifications are admitted to undergo one (1) semester of Certificate in Foundation Skills (CIFS) in which they are prepared for better pursuit of the higher studies in the field of I.T.

The IDT programme allows students to attain an in-depth understanding in the areas of computing and information technology. Upon successful completion of the DIT programme, students may proceed on to the International Advanced Diploma in Network and Computer Security (IADNCS).

3. International Advanced Diploma in Network and Computer Security (IADNCS)

Upon completion of the International Advanced Diploma, students may proceed to degree courses offered by various universities abroad. Many foreign universities offer admission to graduates of IAD based on assessment of the individual student’s transcript.  Some universities in UK, Australia, USA, have affiliation with IAI and admit holders of IAD candidates into the final year of their degree programmes. Locally, holders of IAD gain admission into the degree programme through JAMB-DE. Apply Here
