The unique Information Technology Institute was established by Jigawa State in the year 2000 under the license of Informatics Academy, Singapore, with a view to train and produce IT graduates that would reposition the State and Nigeria as a whole. The institute provides every platform for the students to acquire innovative IT skills that give them more cutting edges among peers.Currently, we have NBTE fully accredited National Diploma courses and flexible International Diploma courses that are Singapore based, (Informatics). Special Advisor to the Jigawa State Governor on Tertiary Education visits JSIIT Kazaure (Informatics)

The new Special Advisor on Tertiary Education Jigawa State Engr. Mohammed T. Mohammed visited Jigawa State Institute of Information Technology, Kazaure on 29/09/2020. He was in the Institute with his entourage for familiarization tour to gather information and data that will give him some guidelines to deliver his duty effectively. During his address the SA unveiled his strategic plan and design objectives to the Management as part of his commitment to move the tertiary education forward in the state.
In his response the Rector of the Institute Professor Babawuro Usman welcomes the S.A to the Institute on behalf of the Management and staff and at the same time intimidated the Hon. with brief history of the Institute from inception to date, he however, mentioned some of the challenges bedeveling the progress of the Institute.
Finally, the Registrar of the Institute Malam Sadisu Buhari Babura who made the vote of thanks on behalf of the Institute community commended His Excellency the Executive Governor of Jigawa State for choosing the young energetic and vibrant S.A to the Jigawa State Tertiary Educations and wishes the Hon. and his entourage journey mercy back to Dutse.

Kazaure
Kazaure, town and traditional emirate in Jigawa state, northern Nigeria. The town has been the emirate’s headquarters since 1819. It was founded by Dan Tunku, a Fulani warrior who was one of the 14 flag bearers for the Fulani jihad (holy war) leader Usman dan Fodio.
